GN O-4 "Mikado" downgrade near Merritt, WA on Stevens Pass

Tucked into a valley at the foot of the grade is this small yard and engine facility.  Trains reduce tonnage and add power for the assault of the 2.2% grade up the west face of Washington's Cascade Range.
